Kansas City (this was where I lived for 2 years) was my first stop on my USA trip in April 2011! 🙂 Miss the Dickinsons & Ruby (the dog) so so so much! I wonder when I’ll be able to see them again.. I guess when Im done with the Police Academy! 🙂

Well, since I still havnt completely updated you all on my trip in April 2011 (Kansas City, Fort Lauderdale, Cruise in the Caribbean with Oasis of the Seas and Miami) I decided to atleast share some pictures! 😉

So, finally Ive gotten myself to update my blog! 🙂 Weather is kinda bad in Gävle today so why not?! Fredrik is still sleeping.. we were thinking about painting the hall today but that will be later! 🙂
I had a great time in Kansas City with the Dickinsons, miss them already and now Im guessing it will be a few years until I see them, unless they visit Sweden.. since I FINALLY got excepted to the Police Academy. I start September 5th in Umeå! 😀 EXCITED!

Fort Lauderdale was great.. we didnt have time to do all that much stuff since we were only there for 2 days but we did have time for the pool in the morning and also Sawgrass Mills Shopping Mall! A really gigantic place with awesome shopping!
Saturday morning (9/4) it was time to check out and head over to the ship aka Oasis of the Seas! WOW was my first impression and what a enormous ship!!! Hard to even explain how big it is.. You’ll see a lot of pictures! 😀
We “checked in”.. got our pictures taken and a card to the room and what ever you bought on the boat! Food, water, juice and all the things you wanted to do on the boat were all included in the fee. So basically my card was used for alcohol and the excursions on the three Islands we were gonna stop at: Bahamas, St. Maarten & St.Thomas!
Once we got onboard Oasis of the Seas we started of with a Pina Colada and did some exploring before heading over to our “rooms” on deck 10 (17 decks total)! 🙂 Our rooms were great.. connecting rooms and even our Oceanview balconys were connecting so we got a pretty big balcony!! We unpacked a little and then headed over to deck 4. We got some information about what to do if something “bad” was going to happen.. if the ship would sink or whatever.. 😛 After that we got some food and also signed up for the excursions + got tickets for the musical Hairspray and the water show Oasis of Dreams! 🙂 We ended our day on the balcony with a drink or two (we did that every night) and early on sunday it was time for sightseeing on BAHAMAS and Atlantis Resort! 😀
